Ice age trail
Many places in Mecklenburg Lake District reveal the legacy of the last ice age. Along the 375 kilometre ice age trail between the Hanseatic city of Demmin and the Feldberg Lake District, there are wonderful examples of landscape features from the ice age such as ground moraines, terminal moraines, outwash plains and glacial valleys.
